Tips for choosing Landlord Furniture rental

Ginger tips on choosing Landlord furniture rental to maximise lets, reduce voids and increase ROI.

There are lots of furniture rental options on the market and many furniture companies who specialise in furniture rental and furniture packs for landlords. If you have invested in property to let, whether you are an experienced landlord with a large property portfolio or you’re new to landlord responsibilities, you’ll want to be sure that the furniture you purchase for tenants is the best you can get and at the right price.

Consider the following tips for choosing landlords furniture:

1)  Ensure that all furniture and electrical appliances are compliant with necessary fire regulations and tenancy legal requirements

2)  That a VAT Invoice for the furniture is suitable to use for accounting purposes and any offsetting for tax benefits

3) The quality of the furniture is adequate for usage to last as long as possible

4) The style and quality of furniture should be appropriate to the potential market to draw suitable tenants

5)  The style and size of the furniture is suitable for the property layout to maximise space and visual effects for property marketing visuals

6)  Furniture is practical for cleaning purposes

7)  All Furniture is described accurately on the furnishing Inventory to make end of tenancy checks and any insurance claims easier to administer

Quality furniture for Landlords is important! Good value is necessary when purchasing a landlord’s furniture pack, but it is worth considering the longevity of the furniture then used by tenants and its practicality for cleaning purposes.
